Clients - The Projects 
Below is just small selection of the many projects we have undertaken over the years: 
 

Standard Life: Contract value £50k - £300k 

The Brief: Multiple projects preparing large out of town retail units for our client’s new tenants. 
 
The Delivery: Building works included demolition and removal, separating walls to sub-divide areas, as well as building new amenity blocks. The projects also involved piling and foundations for mezzanines, and fitting shutter doors and new fire exit doors. We arranged for the installation of services, which included electric, gas and water supply. 
 
The Results: New shopfronts and doors, mezzanines, as well as steelwork alterations for signage support and entrance features. We also undertook alterations to the car park. 

AHF Furnishings: Contract value £1k – £620k 

The Brief: To act as main contractor for nine new turnkey stores, along with a reactive maintenance service for the entire estate. 
 
The Delivery: Each contract comprised of a design and build project, which included carrying out an initial site survey. Working directly from the client’s brief, we produced drawings whilst obtaining approval for planning and building control. Building works included a full M&E installation, jumbo stud partitioning, piling, plumbing, shutter doors and the design, manufacture and installation of bespoke display joinery.  
 
The Results: Brand new shopfronts with suspended ceilings, floor coverings, and decoration. 

SCS: Contract value £25k - £650k 

The Brief: To act as Principal Contractor for 26 new stores and 50 major re-fits. 
 
The Delivery: Major refurbishment project; we controlled the programming and supervision of our client’s contractors. Building works included a full M&E installation, piling, jumbo stud partitioning, plumbing, shutter doors and the design, manufacture and installation of bespoke display joinery. 
 
The Results: Brand new shopfronts, mezzanine floors, suspended ceilings, floor coverings and decorations for all stores. 

Dreams Beds Ltd: Contract value £70k - £150k 

The Brief: Ongoing projects over the past seven years including 26 fast-track new store openings to date (ongoing opening programme). 
 
The Delivery: Acting as Principal Contractor, we controlled the programming, CDM and supervision of the client’s direct contractors. This involved carrying out site surveys, producing working drawings and obtaining planning approval. Building works for the projects including piling, fire protection, jumbo stud partitioning, full M&E installation, plumbing, as well as the design, manufacture and installation of bespoke display joinery. 
 
The Results: As well as creating new shopfronts, mezzanine floors and suspended ceilings including floor coverings and decoration for all stores, we have also completed a major refurbishment of the bed manufacturing facility in Oldbury. 

Brantano Footwear: Contract values £3k to £150k 

The Brief: 75 new store openings and 100 refurbishment contracts over a 16-year period. 
 
The Delivery: Building works included demolition and removal, separating walls to sub-divide areas, as well as building new amenity blocks. The projects also involved piling and foundations for mezzanines, and fitting shutter doors and new fire exit doors. We arranged for the installation of services, which included electric, gas and water supply. 
 
The Results: New shopfronts and doors, mezzanines, as well as steelwork alterations for signage support and entrance features. We also undertook alterations to the car park. 

Merchant Inns Ltd: Contract value £50k - £1.7m 

The Brief: Multiple hospitality refurbishment contracts including a 500-year-old building. 
 
The Delivery: Complete refurbishment of The Black Boy Inn, Milton near Banbury, which included the existing bar and a new build extension to form a new restaurant. We also refurbished the bar, restaurant and six letting rooms at The Horse and Groom in Malmesbury. We carried out a 13-bedroom new build extension at The Carnarvon Arms near Newbury. Plus, we undertook a design and build contract to erect a 24-bedroom standalone building (contract value of £1.7m) at The Talbot Inn at Ripley near Guildford - this was an £800k refurbishment project (including bedrooms), working on the original 500-year-old building. 
 
The Results: This series of projects included construction of a restaurant extension and treatments to existing bars, which won a design award, as well as a £100k project to create a conference centre. 

Scottish Provident: Contract value £50k – £300k 

The Brief: To deliver multiple projects over many years, which involved the preparation of large out of town retail units for the client’s new tenants. 
 
The Delivery: Works included both demolition and removals, building new amenity blocks, as well sub-dividing areas by separating walls. Piling and foundations for new mezzanines were required, as well as roof and cladding repairs and renewal. Plus, we arranged and organised the installation of new services (electrical, gas and water supply) at the premises. 
 
The Results: New retail outlets featuring brand new shopfronts, roller shutters, and fire exit doors. Steelwork alterations were undertaken to entrance features and to support signage. Plus, we carried out car park alterations. 

Sofology Ltd: Contract value £25 – £350k 

The Brief: To act as main contractor for major fast-track fit-out projects. 
 
The Delivery: Major refurbishment project including building works, stud partitioning, plumbing, installing electrics, shutter doors, bespoke display joinery, and ensuring fire protection. 
 
The Results: Brand new shopfronts, suspended ceilings, raised floors, floor coverings and decoration. We also designed, manufactured and installed a bespoke reception desk, seating and staff canteen furniture at the client’s head office. 

Blackrock Inc: Contract value £50k - £300k 

The Brief: To deliver multiple projects over several years, preparing large out of town retail units for the client’s new tenants. 
 
The Delivery: Works included demolition and removals, separating walls to sub-divide areas, and building new amenity blocks. The project included piling and foundations for new mezzanine floors, as well as roof and cladding repairs/renewal. We also arranged and installed new services at the premises (electrical, gas and water supply). 
 
The Results: Brand new retail areas including new shopfronts, new fire exit doors, new roller shutters, and steelwork alterations to support signage and entrance features. We also carried out on-site car park alterations. 

Grayshot Leisure Ltd: Contract value £20k - £300k 

The Brief: To refurbish the hotel complex and spa facility, reception and wine bar including 16 standard single rooms and 16 new junior suites. 
 
The Delivery: Full building works including fitting new windows, new patio doors, and new bathrooms. We also installed new lighting, a new air conditioning system, as well as fitting dividing sliding screens between the bedrooms and bathrooms, plus decorations and floor finishes. 
 
The Results: A fully refurbished spa and hotel complex including the creation of a new shop, and the production of new bespoke joinery items for the reception desk and bar. We also created 16 junior suites from 32 single rooms. 

Peter Werth (Fashion Designer): Contract value £10k - £300k 

Project no. 1 

The client was relocating to a brand new empty unit in Enfield, which was due to house a new office and warehouse facility. We completed a turnkey package providing lighting, power, heating and ventilation to the warehouse. We also installed a mezzanine (200m2 approx.) with offices on the first floor, as well as offices and a reception area on the ground floor. Works included installing fire rated partitions, suspended ceilings, lighting, power, data, HVAC, joinery items, decorations and floor finishes. 

Project no. 2 

One year after the first project above, we installed hardwood glazed screens to create separate offices within the Accounts office, which was located on the ground floor. 

Project no. 3 

Three years after the above project, we then installed a second mezzanine area (30m2 approx.) with storage overhead and a suspended ceiling below. Works included installing fire rated partitions, lighting, power, heating, ventilation, decoration and floor finishes.
